Association of Accountants-General (AAAG) is a Pan-African organisation established to drive transformation, enhance transparency, and ensure accountability in the management of public resources across the continent.<\/p><p>AAAG brings together the Offices of the Accountants General and fosters excellence in Public Financial Management (PFM) through collaboration, knowledge sharing, technical assistance, and capacity building, for enhanced service delivery and sustainable development.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-ee68e2f In 2018, African leaders saw the need for a continent-wide organization and began discussions to expand ESAAG\u2019s model. Consultative meetings held across Africa from 2019 to 2021 led to the adoption of a new constitution. With support from the African Union and other partners, AAAG was officially launched \u00a0on July 6, 2023, during a ceremony held in Mombasa, Kenya.
